There are many ways to donate, including your time, effort and monetarily. In whatever form, your donation will help us to better serve those in need by providing educational opportunities, health services and direct aid wherever needed in Latin America. Donate via United Way LACA can receive donations via pledges to United Way. Some ways you can help promising impoverished students: Education - Sponsor a Student Can you accept the challenge to help educate a youngster? Your generosity will ensure him or her of a promising future. $1200-$1500 a year will educate a University student. You may want to sponsor a worthy youngster and share the cost with friends or family members. LACA screens our scholarship applicants very carefully. They are all impoverished, and have at least a B grade of better which they need to maintain while at the University. Several documents are completed. Please contact us for details. Volunteering LACA could use your help! If you have always wanted to help a worthy grass roots organization and make a difference in improving the lives of the less fortunate people, become a LACA volunteer. Help with fundraising events, office work, telephone calls and by promoting our organization. Please contact LACA if you are interested in helping to make a difference.
